Francisco Castillo is an accomplished Oboe Professor with extensive experience in academia and professional orchestras. Since August 2000, Castillo has held positions at Pomona College, the University of Redlands, Pasadena City College, and Idyllwild Arts Academy. Additionally, Castillo serves as Principal Oboe for the Redlands Symphony and California Philharmonic, while also contributing as English Horn for the New West Symphony. Castillo's musical education includes a Licenciatura in Music from the University of Costa Rica and studies at the University of Southern California, fostering a rich career in both teaching and performance since 1988.
