Dave C. Nelson is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in digital design, particularly in FPGA and ASIC development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer and Senior Digital Design Engineer at New Wave Design and Verification since October 2016, Dave specializes in FPGA design, implementation, and verification. Prior to this role, Dave worked as an ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer at Honeywell from December 2001 to September 2016 and as a Member of the Technical Staff at Tellabs from June 2000 to November 2001. Educationally, Dave holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Dave has prior education experience at Milwaukee School of Engineering and Irondale High School.
