Elizabeth Mason Shadock is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a diverse background in teaching and educational management. At New Visions for Public Schools since August 2016, Elizabeth serves as a Curriculum Developer and Professional Learning Manager. Previous roles include Technology Specialist, Assistant IB Coordinator, and G9-10 English Teacher at the International School of Curitiba, along with teaching Secondary English Literature and AP U.S. History at Dipont Education. Elizabeth's early career includes positions as Assistant Dean of Students and Secondary Teacher for Government and History at the NYC Department of Education, and Publishing Editor at R.W. Byram & Company. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from The University of Texas at Austin and multiple degrees from Texas State University, including a Bachelor's degree in History and Communication and Media Studies, as well as Graduate Studies in Secondary Teacher Certification.
