Sara Gale Read is an experienced professional in archaeology and geophysical applications, currently serving as Program Manager at New South Associates, Inc. since February 2016. Previously, Sara held roles at Geophysical Survey Systems, Inc. as an Archaeology & Forensics Application Specialist & Technical Trainer, supporting the integration of advanced technologies in the archaeology and forensics sectors. Sara's experience also includes serving as an Archaeologist for the Georgia Department of Transportation, where oversight of the Section 106 compliance process was key. Academic credentials include a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Denver and a B.A. in Anthropology with a GIS/Remote Sensing specialization from the University of Arkansas.
