Samantha E. Vargas is a seasoned event coordinator currently serving at the City of New Rochelle since January 2024, following nearly a decade as a communications assistant and social media coordinator within the same organization. Samantha's background includes experience as a digital marketing specialist at Sofrito White Plains, where innovative ideas were implemented to boost restaurant sales, and a publicist and beauty & fashion editor for Urban Lifestyle Media, managing media relations and crafting promotional content. Earlier roles involved event coordination and marketing at Sazon Restaurant NYC, as well as internships with MTV Networks/Logo, Diamante Pictures, and WVOX1460, where Samantha gained extensive industry knowledge. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from St. John's University and is currently pursuing further education at New York University.
