Zahir Robb is the current Director of Admissions at New Roads School. Zahir has also worked as the Head of School at STAR Prep Academy and as a Lead Teacher at Starr King Elementary School.

Robb has been in the education field for over 15 years. Zahir started their career as a lead teacher at a school that was placed under Program Improvement as a provision of No Child Left Behind. During their time there, they were able to help build literacy and math skills, and improve school culture and community within the school.

In 2004, Robb became the Head of School at STAR Prep Academy. Zahir oversaw the development of the school from a single room schoolhouse to an accredited, diverse, and innovative thought leader in 6-12 education. During their time there, they helped the school become accredited and helped to develop its curriculum.

Since 2017, Robb has been working as the Director of Admissions at New Roads School. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the admissions process and working with families to ensure that their students are able to attend the school.

Zahir Robb reports to Luthern Williams, Head of School. Some of their coworkers include Martha Champlin - Elementary School Director, Dawn Fairchild - Director of Communications & Marketing, and Daniela Pennise - Assistant Head of School.
