Ryan McMahon is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in processing large-scale data streams and developing software solutions. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at New Relic, Inc., Ryan McMahon is responsible for managing and processing over 7 trillion events per day, enabling functionalities for New Relic's Alerting product. Previously, Ryan worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Pivotal Software, contributing to Apache Geode, and held multiple engineering roles at OSIsoft, where Ryan designed an IoT device management application and handled customer support for PI products. Ryan's early career includes positions in process engineering and technical sales internships across various companies. Ryan earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and two Bachelor's Degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science and Engineering from the University of Washington.
