Lauren Higgins is an experienced strategist and consultant with a focus on ecosystem development and democratic innovations. Currently serving as the Director of Ecosystem Strategy at New Pluralists since August 2022, Higgins previously worked as a Strategic Advisor at The American Public Trust, where the mission centered on citizen-led democratic approaches. Prior to that role, Higgins contributed to the Kauffman Foundation as a Program Officer, concentrating on inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem building. With a background in facilitating meaningful collaborations and breakthroughs, Higgins has served various organizations, including a consultancy titled Lauren Higgins, and held significant positions in the Impact Hub Network. Early career experiences include co-directing the Communikey festival and managing projects related to social innovation. Lauren Higgins holds a degree in Speech Communications, Organizational Communications, Sustainability, and Spanish from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
