Mateen Tariq is a seasoned professional in the fields of addiction counseling and education. Currently serving as a Drug And Alcohol Counselor at New Pathway Counseling since July 2020, Mateen specializes in guiding clients through the recovery process while contributing to treatment planning and assessments. Mateen also holds a position in Research And Development for Addictions Workshops at Wise Life Academy, where research on various addiction treatments is coordinated for workshops globally. As a Board Member at the Muslim Education and Convert Center of America, Mateen engages in content creation and coordination across multiple teams. Previous experience includes roles in pathology, clinical observation, and teaching, complemented by extensive volunteer work. Mateen holds a Medical Doctorate from American University of Antigua College of Medicine and a certificate in addiction counseling from Hudson County Community College.
