C.J. Leak is currently an area scout for the New Orleans Saints. Prior to this role, they were a college scout for the Saints from May 2016 to May 2018. Before joining the Saints, Leak worked as a pro/college scout for the Buffalo Bills from July 2008 to May 2016. C.J. began their scouting career with the National Football League (NFL) in 2005. C.J. has also worked as a defensive graduate assistant and recruiting quality control for the University of Florida.

C.J. Leak attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for their bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, and related support services. They then went on to Wake Forest University for their schooling.

C.J. Leak reports to Jeff Ireland, VP & Assistant General Manager, College Personnel. They work with Scott Campbell - Senior College Scouting Analyst, Paul Zimmer - Area Scout, and Matt Phillips - Combine Scout.
