Kristin DiGioia Bumgardner serves as the Education Programs Manager and Membership Manager at the New Orleans Museum of Art since January 2022. Previously, Kristin held various teaching positions at Baton Rouge Magnet High School from July 2014 to January 2022, focusing on Advanced Placement courses in Art History, Human Geography, and World History, and receiving multiple accolades, including Magnet Schools of America Region V Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021. Additionally, Kristin's background includes positions at Centenary College of Louisiana in philanthropy roles, Patron Services Manager at the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, and internships at prominent art institutions like the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Amon Carter Museum. Kristin earned a Master of Arts in Art History from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Visual Culture from Centenary College of Louisiana.
