Mohammad H. Cheema, M.D. has extensive work experience in the medical field. Mohammad H. is currently the Medical Director at the Sleep Disorder Center in the prestigious University Medical Center New Orleans. Mohammad H. played a key role in establishing this center, which is the first of its kind in the LCMC family. Prior to this, Dr. Cheema served as an Attending Physician at Tulane Medical Center and as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Mohammad H. also held the positions of Medical Director and Department Chair at New Orleans East Hospital (NOEH) and Medical Director at the Sleep Center of New Orleans. In addition, Dr. Cheema worked as an Attending Physician at West Jefferson Medical Center and MDLIVE, Inc. Mohammad H. started their medical career as a Physician at LSU Health Sciences Center and later completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Mohammad H. Cheema, M.D. obtained their MHA degree in Health Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Mohammad H. attended this institution from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their MHA degree, they also obtained certification in Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) from AtlantiCare in January 2014.
