Shyam Prasad is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in cloud and big data solutions. Currently serving as a Cloud Data Solution Architect at the New Mexico Department of Health since January 2021, Shyam specializes in Azure technologies including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Purview, and Microsoft Fabric, as well as data management and governance. Prior to this, Shyam held the position of Big Data Solution Architect at the Texas Department of Transportation from November 2016 to December 2020, focusing on data lakes and enterprise information management. Shyam's career also includes roles as a Big Data Engineer at SunTrust and a Data Engineer at Express Scripts, where experience with data integration and analytics tools was gained. Additionally, experience as a Senior Data Analyst at Citi involved master data management and technical support.
