Angus Mugford is a seasoned professional in the field of sport psychology and high performance, currently serving as Senior Vice President for the New Jersey Devils since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mugford was Vice President of High Performance for the Toronto Blue Jays from December 2015 to May 2022, focusing on player development and performance strategies. Mugford also held the position of Director at IMG Institute from June 2013 to December 2015, where the emphasis was on mental conditioning and leadership services across various sectors. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of the Mental Conditioning Division at IMG Academies from 2004 to May 2013, and providing sport psychology consultancy for the University of Kansas's Division 1 soccer and tennis teams from 2000 to 2004. Angus Mugford holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Kansas and has dual master's and bachelor's degrees in related fields.
