Karen Cotton-Everett, LPC, NCC, MS, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Coordinator of the Revenue Acquisition Department and Clinical Outpatient Services at New Horizons Behavioral Health since May 2021. Prior to this role, Karen was the Clinical Director at Methodist Home of the South Georgia Conference from February 2018 to April 2021. Karen has a significant history with New Horizons Behavioral Health, holding various positions from July 2007 to February 2018, including Director of Compliance and Performance Improvement, Suicide Prevention Trainer, and Therapist. Karen began professional training as a Counselor Intern at Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home, Twin Cedars, from June 2006 to May 2007. Karen holds a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Columbus State University.
