Bob Rountree, MD, has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as the Business Owner of Boulder Wellcare since July 2002, specializing in family practice and functional medicine. In addition, Bob Rountree holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Thorne Research, where the focus is on high-purity nutraceuticals and medical foods distributed through licensed healthcare providers. Since January 2000, Bob Rountree has been part of the Core Faculty at The Institute for Functional Medicine. Other roles include membership on the Scientific Advisory Board for Balchem Corporation, Medical Editor for New Hope Natural Media, Clinical Editor for Alternative and Complementary Therapies, and involvement with Genova Diagnostics' Speaker's Bureau. Previously, Bob Rountree contributed as a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild from 2005 to 2010.
