Quita Sullivan is an experienced arts and legal professional, currently serving as the Senior Program Director for Theater at the New England Foundation for the Arts since July 2010, where management of a $3.9 million national funding program for theater artists is a key responsibility. Previously, Quita held roles including Program Director and Program Manager for the National Theater Project, and Development Director at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School, a Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Knox College. Quita’s background encompasses significant advocacy and legal expertise in environmental justice, reflected in positions such as Environmental Justice Attorney at Sugar Law Center and Staff Attorney/Program Director at Alternatives for Community & Environment.
