Barbara Martin, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with a diverse professional background. Currently, Barbara serves as a freelance writer for Marriage.com, psychcentral.com, and mindbodygreen.com since April 2016. Additionally, Barbara has been a psychotherapist at Headzone, LLC since 2009 and is an EAP Mental Health Trainer for New Directions Behavioral Health since April 2018. Previous experience includes working as a college counselor at Berklee College of Music from 2006 to 2010 and as a substance abuse counselor at North Charles Institute for Addictions from 2005 to 2006.
