Jennifer Lawson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jennifer is currently working as the Learning and Development Program Lead at New Charter Technologies. Prior to this, they worked at North Carolina State University as the Assistant Director, Office of Professional Development, where they managed a continuing education unit and led a team of program coordinators and assistants. Jennifer also worked at Wake Technical Community College as the MCO Grant Project Director, overseeing the progress of a US Department of Labor grant and coordinating efforts with educational partners. Additionally, Jennifer has experience as an IP Legal Assistant at IBM, Assistant Director of Non-Credit Programs at Binghamton University, and as a Financial Advisor and Adult Education Instructor at Broome-Tioga BOCES.

Jennifer Lawson received their Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University at Albany, SUNY in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from SUNY Broome Community College in 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Creating Leadership Development Programs Certificate program from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2023. Jennifer also obtained certifications in The Future of Workplace Learning and What You Need to Know to Get Started with Your Training Program from LinkedIn in 2022.
