Ioannis Koskinas serves as the CEO of The Hoplite Group since August 2013, leading a team with extensive public sector and commercial experience in economic development within frontier markets. Additionally, Ioannis holds the position of Senior Fellow with the International Securities Program at the New America Foundation since June 2014, and previously acted as Executive Vice President and President of the Asia Africa Projects Group, overseeing various international projects and focusing on the mining sector in Afghanistan. Prior military experience includes over two decades of service in the United States Air Force, culminating in the rank of Colonel, with expertise in strategy, policy, and complex operations. Ioannis's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in military strategy, operations, and international relations, along with a bachelor's degree in biology.
