Laural Boone, PhD, JD, serves as Assistant General Counsel at Neurocrine Biosciences, where responsibilities include collaborating with various departments to ensure patient access and intellectual property exclusivity in drug development and commercialization. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director, Patent Counsel at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, overseeing global biotechnology intellectual property issues. Additional positions held include Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Capsugel and Patent Attorney at King & Spalding LLP, among others. Laural Boone holds a JD with honors from The George Washington University Law School, a PhD and MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Chemistry from Barnard College.
