Kristy Townsend, Ph.D. is co-founder, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Chair of the Board for Neuright, Inc. Former Associate Professor of Neurobiology at UMaine, and now Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University, and is an expert in peripheral nerves, neuropathy, diabetes, obesity, and the brain’s control of energy balance and metabolic health. Townsend holds a doctorate in Neuroscience from Boston University, and is passionate about ethical and transparent biotech commercialization.
