Hanlin Miao has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Software Engineer at Network to Code since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer intern at L3Harris Technologies from May 2021 to August 2021. Hanlin also had a previous internship at Network to Code from August 2020 to February 2021. Additionally, Hanlin gained experience as a Human Resources Information System intern at Realty Operations Group from August 2019 to December 2019 and as an Engineering intern at RGBS Energy from May 2019 to August 2019. Before entering the tech industry, Hanlin worked as an Academic Support Center Tutor at Stevens Institute of Technology from October 2018 to May 2019. Hanlin's earliest work experience was as a Teaching Assistant at HuaXia Organization of Culture Learning Center from May 2015 to August 2015.

Hanlin Miao completed their high school education at Monsignor Farrell High School from 2013 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. They then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Hanlin is enrolled at the University of Southern California, where they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, starting in 2022.
