Ryan Scott is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in high-speed rail systems and project engineering. Currently serving as Director of High Speed Systems at Network Rail Consulting since February 2016, Ryan is actively involved in the California High Speed Rail project in the Systems Engineering Manager capacity. Prior to this role, Ryan spent over a decade at Network Rail, where relevant positions included Programme Engineering Manager for the Midland Main Line Programme and Project Engineering Manager for the Midland Main Line Electrification Programme. Ryan's career began as a Graduate Engineer, and education includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation from the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
