Julian Jaramillo is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently working as a Software Developer at Network Ninja since July 2023, Julian previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at SmugMug from February 2011 to June 2022, where leadership in developing a system for detecting and moderating child abuse-related media on Flickr was a key achievement. Prior to SmugMug, Julian contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo from December 2000 to December 2010, serving as Scrum Master and technical lead for the Yahoo Localization Platform. Julian's early career includes a role as Senior Internet Programmer at Mindsare Design and co-founding one of Colombia's first Internet companies, Imagine SAS. Academically, Julian holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Manizales.
