Marc Ruijten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in toxicology, occupational health, and emergency preparedness. Since September 2017, Marc has been the Manager, Owner, Consultant, and Trainer at Hazolutions and has also served as the Director of QT Time, focusing on quality training for healthcare professionals since January 2020. With a background in toxicological risk assessment, Marc has held various roles, including Director and Toxicologist at CrisisTox Consult and Project Leader for CBRN preparations at Veiligheidsregio Rotterdam-Rijnmond and Traumacentrum West. In addition, Marc contributed to the national COVID-19 testing efforts as an advisor and program manager for GGD GHOR Nederland from March 2020 to June 2023. Marc holds a Master's Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Toxicology, and Epidemiology from Wageningen University & Research and a Ph.D. in Occupational Medicine, Toxicology, and Epidemiology from the University of Amsterdam.
