Jon Carrillo

Jon Carrillo has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Jon has held roles in various companies starting from 2010. Jon began their career as a Graphic Designer at Baylor University Student Activities Department, where they worked from May 2010 to December 2011. Subsequently, from February 2012 to May 2014, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Neighborly®, collaborating with a marketing team to support internal and external marketing activities.

In 2014, Jon joined Methodist Children's Home as a Graphic Designer/Publications Specialist. During their tenure, they showcased their leadership skills by rebranding the organization with a new logo, brand guidelines, and stylesheets. Jon also created various promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, print ads, and quarterly publications.

From July to December 2015, Jon worked as a Graphic Designer at ShakeWell Creative, followed by a role as a Senior Designer at Real Chemistry from January to April 2016. Jon then transitioned to the role of Art Director at Social Distillery from June 2017 to December 2018, where they maintained brand standards, oversaw high-level client and internal projects, and managed a team.

In 2019, Jon joined Camp Gladiator as a Lead Designer, where they provided high-level art direction for motion graphics, digital, and print assets for large marketing campaigns. Jon also managed junior designers. Concurrently, they started working at Netspend in September 2019 as a Senior Designer, responsible for designing print, video animations, motion graphics, app screens, and websites. Jon collaborated with art directors, product designers, and UI/UX designers to create print and digital experiences for various clients and partners.

Overall, Jon Carrillo has acquired extensive experience in graphic design, art direction, print, and digital design, working with well-known clients and leading teams in various companies.

Jon Carrillo was enrolled at Baylor University from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a major in Graphic Design. In addition, they obtained a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group in April 2023.
