Maral Panahi has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Maral started their career in 2002 at Iran Telecom Research Center as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2004. Maral then joined DOURAN GROUP as a Software Developer, working there from August 2004 to June 2006. Maral then moved to DPCO, where they held multiple roles including Database Developer, Business Intelligence Developer/Data Analyst, and Software Engineer. Maral'stenure at DPCO lasted from 2006 to 2015. Currently, Maral works at Netskrt Systems Inc. as a Software Engineer, a position they have held since January 2019.

Maral Panahi has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Maral also holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Iran University of Science and Technology. In 2018, Maral joined the British Columbia Institute of Technology to pursue Applied Data Analytics. Furthermore, they have obtained a certification in Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms from Coursera, which was completed in November 2017.
