Lei Zhang is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in developing advanced security products and big data solutions. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Director of Engineering at Netskope since December 2020, Lei Zhang leads initiatives in core security features, integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. Prior to this role, Lei Zhang held positions as Senior Manager at Alibaba Group and Principal Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, focusing on machine learning and big data analytics. Additional experience includes senior software engineering roles at companies such as Putara, Robo7, Ericsson, Nortel, and Beijing Capitek, with a solid foundation in 3G network monitoring and management software. Lei Zhang holds Master’s degrees in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University and Computer Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
