Alex van de Veen

Alex van de Veen has a strong background in digital marketing, with a focus on programmatic display and online video. They started their career as an intern at Boretti in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, Alex worked at QUISMA as a Junior Campaign Manager and later as a Campaign Manager, handling tasks such as trafficking, setup, management, optimization, reporting, and evaluation of display, search, social, and online video campaigns. They also interned at QUISMA, assisting with campaign management activities and writing a thesis on effective online performance campaigns for a health insurance company.

In 2016, Alex joined IPG Mediabrands, working as a Display Consultant in the display team. They provided programmatic and direct buy advice to campaign managers and client teams, ensuring campaign setups aligned with client needs and coordinated with other teams. Additionally, Alex held the position of Digital Trading Manager at Cadreon, where they developed programmatic technology solutions for IPG Mediabrand's agency partner landscape.

In 2017, Alex transitioned to Netprofiler and then to Leadscope, both part of the LevelUp Group. As Head of Programmatic Display & Online Video, they worked collaboratively with colleagues on projects that pushed the boundaries of digital marketing.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies, programmatic advertising, campaign management, and client consultation.

Alex van de Veen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Sportmarketing from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, completed between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, Alex attended PSG Da Vinci for VWO studies. In addition to their education, Alex has obtained several certifications, including the Campaign Manager Certification, Google Ads Video Certification, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Google Ads Display Certification, and Display & Video 360 Certification from Google.
