Einar Améen has a range of work experience in various companies and roles. Einar started their career as a Summer Intern in the Ringhals Safety Analysis department at Ringhals AB in 2012. In 2013, they participated in the DNV Summer Project at DNV Group (Det Norske Veritas). From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Consultant at Lloyd's Register Consulting. Einar then joined the Institute for Energy Technology in 2016 as a Radiation safety engineer until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Einar worked as a Senior Advisor Emergency Preparedness at Direktoratet for strålevern og atomsikkerhet (DSA). Currently, they are employed as a System Developer at NetNordic Norway, starting in 2022.

Einar Améen completed their Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, spanning from 2009 to 2013. Einar further pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Risk Management and Safety Engineering from the same institution, which they completed between 2012 and 2013.
