Audun Kjørstad started their work experience as a Fyrstekonsulent at Høgskulen på Vestlandet in 2014, later transitioning to the role of Seniorkonsulent from 2015 to 2017. Audun then worked as a Rådgjevar at Stortinget from 2017 to 2020. After that, they became the Sals- og marknadsansvarleg at Kong Arthur AS from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Audun is serving as a Business Development Manager at NetNordic Norway starting from 2023.

Audun Kjørstad completed their Master's degree in Russian at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Language with a specialization in Russian, also at the University of Bergen, from 2006 to 2010. In 2019, they briefly studied Business Administration at BI Norwegian Business School. In addition to their academic achievements, Audun Kjørstad obtained certifications in "Etablererprøven for serveringsvirksomhet" and "Kunnskapsprøve i alkohollova" from Bergen kommune in 2011. Audun also completed a year of Hungarian Language and Literature studies at the University of Debrecen in 2004 and 2005.
