Siemon de Lange is a postdoctoral researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience since January 2021 and has been a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since April 2018, where network science has been applied to identify brain-based biomarkers of mental disorders. Siemon developed an end-to-end MRI processing pipeline in MATLAB and organized a network science summer school and workshop. Previously, Siemon worked as a PhD candidate at UMC Utrecht and as a research assistant, applying spectral graph theory methods in neuroscience. Siemon holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht, with additional experience as a visiting student at the University of California, Berkeley.
