Jaro Camphuijsen is an experienced eScience Research Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since March 2019, with a strong background in teaching swing dance from the 20's and 30's at Stichting Swing in Utrecht and Algorhythm from January 2018 to March 2020. Jaro served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Universiteit van Amsterdam from September 2017 to June 2018, where responsibilities included teaching courses and assisting with educational platform transitions. An internship at the Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut (KNMI) in early 2017 involved conducting independent scientific research. Jaro's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computational Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Amsterdam.
