Miriam Ackerman

Miriam Ackerman has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they were the Co-Founder and President of Fill The Cup, LLC, an innovative web-based service providing fundraising assistance for not-for-profit and arts organizations. From 2003 to 2007, they held the role of Associate/General Manager at Latchmere Theatre/Theatre503. During this time, they were actively involved in a variety of roles. In 2007, they became Project Manager and Assistant Producer at Ness Valley Productions, where they were responsible for reviewing incoming scripts, analyzing feasibility and value to the production company, and writing script reports and statements for review. From 2009 to 2017, they were Executive Creative Director at BeBloomin, where they were responsible for the design and functionality of the innovative web-based system. In 2017, they became Executive Administrator at Circus Juventas, where they were a key member of a strategic transition team to change company culture and increase productivity. Miriam was also responsible for all liaising, organization and communication for involvement in the 50th Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington D.C. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Professor of Theatre at Lawrence University. In 2018, they held the roles of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Strategic Operations Officer at DNT BLNK. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of NetGiver.

Miriam Ackerman completed a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Lawrence University between 2001 and 2005. Miriam then attended Birkbeck, University of London and completed an MA in Arts Management & Cultural Policy and Open Enrollment in Arts Miriam'story, Management and Cultural Policy between 2008 and 2010. Miriam also attended the University of Minnesota, however the details of their studies there are unknown.
