Bruce Samuels, CEng MIMechE, has over 30 years of work experience in mechanical engineering. Bruce has held various leadership positions, including Director of Mechanical Engineering at NETGEAR and Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Sierra Wireless. Bruce has extensive experience in designing wireless modem products, managing teams, and coordinating with suppliers. Bruce has also worked at Nokia as a Mechanics Team Leader, where they led the design of mechanical product concepts and collaborated with industrial designers. Earlier in their career, Bruce worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Rochford Thompson Equipment Ltd and as a Senior Design Draughtsman at ICS Texicon, where they were responsible for the mechanical design of specialized products. Bruce began their career at NE Technology Ltd as a Design Draughtsman/Systems Manager.

Bruce Samuels, CEng MIMechE, began their education in 1981 at Newbury Technical College, where they obtained an Ordinary National Certificate in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Bruce then attended Reading Technical College from 1983 to 1987, earning a Higher National Diploma in Engineering. Finally, from 1989 to 1994, Bruce attended Solent University and obtained an Institute Associateship in Engineering (Degree) with a focus on Mechanical and Production Engineering.
