Thomas Ballantyne is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and systems reliability. Currently a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Netflix since June 2015, Thomas focuses on enhancing system reliability through data insights and quality monitoring within the Partner Ecosystem Engineering team. Prior to Netflix, Thomas held various roles at ON24 from January 2004 to June 2015, including Senior Systems Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing production environments and improving system reliability. Thomas also contributed as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at ON24, designing and implementing video acquisition systems and ensuring project deliverables met specifications. Earlier career experience includes product and business development management roles at Motorola from 1999 to 2003, where key achievements involved developing product strategies and negotiating technology agreements. Thomas holds a degree from Pomona College and furthered education at Pyramind.
