Lu Zhao is a seasoned Technical Program Manager with extensive experience in driving significant projects in technology firms. Currently at Netflix since July 2023, Lu leads the Availability Program and Live investments within Platform Engineering. Prior experience includes a tenure at Meta, where Lu focused on developing efficient, privacy-centered Data and Machine Learning products from September 2020 to April 2023. At Microsoft, from June 2006 to September 2020, Lu held multiple roles, notably as Product Lead for Cloud Commercial Marketplace, where collaboration across various teams enhanced partner integrations and commercial solutions. Lu also has a strong background in user experience and technical program management related to identity and access security in Azure. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Washington and advanced degrees in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering.
