David Berg is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix since September 2017, David has previously held positions as a Research Staff Member at IBM Almaden Research Center from June 2013 to September 2017 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California between 2005 and 2012. David began a career in research as a Technical Research Assistant at The Scripps Research Institute from 1999 to 2005. Academically, David holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, obtained in 2012, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, completed in 2003.
