James Long has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. James started working at Netcraft in 2015 as an Internet Services Developer. In 2016, they briefly worked as an Internet Services Developer at Netcraft again. From 2017 to 2020, they transitioned into a Business Development Engineer role and then became a Business Development Manager at Netcraft. In 2021, they took on the role of Cyber Resilience Manager before being promoted to Director of Engineering in 2022 at Netcraft. In addition to their time at Netcraft, they also worked as a Director at Evolse from 2011 to 2021.

James Long attended Malmesbury Secondary School from 2007 to 2012. James then went on to study at Malmesbury Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014. Finally, James completed their education at Imperial College London from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science.
