Simon Willan is an experienced software developer with a strong background in PHP development and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Lead Software Developer at Netcoins since July 2018, Simon has successfully built a self-serve cryptocurrency platform that significantly increased retail revenue and enhanced the application’s competitiveness. Prior to this, Simon was a Senior PHP Developer at Claromentis Ltd, where the introduction of Agile principles led to improved productivity and product quality, along with mentorship of junior developers. Additional experience includes web and game development roles at RedBedlam and MCM NET, where Simon contributed to innovative projects such as dPals, a virtual world for children.
