Tomaž Ocepek has extensive work experience in business development and education in the field of telecommunications and computer science. Tomaž started their career in 1996 as a Professor in the ICT department at Seconday School for IT and Telecommunications. Tomaž then moved on to work at Micom Electronics d.o.o as a Business Unit Manager/Balkan Region and later joined Micom Group as a Business Development Manager. In 2005, they became a Professor of Computer Science at Vocational College for Telecommunications. Currently, Tomaž Ocepek is working as a Business Development Manager at NetAlly since April 2017.

Tomaž Ocepek has a background in computer and information science. Tomaž attended the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, although the specific years of their education are not provided. Apart from their academic pursuits, they have obtained various certifications and qualifications. Tomaž is a NetAlly Certified Sales Specialist, having completed the program in October 2021. In March 2015, they achieved certification in Value Selling from Fluke Corporation. Additionally, in August 2006, they became a CCTT Structured Copper Cabling Trainer and a CCTT Structured Fiber Cabling Trainer through Fluke / Bicsi. Tomaž Ocepek also holds certifications as a diving instructor from PADI, in First Aid/CPR from Emergency First Response, and as a ski instructor from ZUTS Slovenia.
