Jonathan Roy has worked in various roles since 2015. Jonathan started their career as a General Laborer at Peter Jenner Farm, Karalie Ganics (Enviro-Care Horticultural Producers), and Arcadia in 2015. In 2017, they worked in project management at les excavation léon chouinard et fils. From 2018 to 2019, they served as an Equipment Engineer at Kiewit, managing equipment for a large construction site. In 2020, they worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada, developing Power BI tools to manage quality department costs. Alongside that role, they also worked as a Freelance Frontend Developer and as a Frontend Developer at Kaliop Canada. Most recently, they worked at Solution Nexam as a Frontend Developer from 2021 to 2022, where they developed a secure and efficient platform for online exams. Currently, they are employed as a Frontend Developer II at nesto since 2022.

Jonathan Roy earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval, studying from 2013 to 2018.
