Amit Marmur's work experience begins in 1996 as a Consultant for Enosh Environmental Systems. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Environmental Engineer for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, leading studies on air quality issues. In 2008, Amit joined ENVIRON as a Sr. Associate, working on air quality projects in Israel and managing projects in the USA. Amit also served as ENVIRON's Contractor in Israel for leading private sector clients. In 2012, they joined Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises LTD. as the VP of Environmental Affairs and Sustainability.
Amit Marmur earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (cum laude) from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the same institution, graduating in 2001. Concurrently, from 1998 to 2001, Amit also completed a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Later, they continued their studies at Georgia Tech and obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering in 2006.
