My'Kel McMillen currently serves as the Community Coordinator for Youth Programs at the Boston Housing Authority since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as CEO of Mack's Soles, which provides donated footwear to those in need in the Greater Boston area. My'Kel held the position of Director of Constituent Services and Organizing for City Councilor Lara (Hicks) at Boston City Hall from January 2022 to November 2023, and previously for City Councillor @hicks4district6 in January 2022. Additional experience comprises serving as Youth Program Director at the Mildred C. Hailey Youth Drop-In Center and a consultant at URBAN EDGE Boston. Early work experience includes a position as a stocker at Journeys. Educational background includes a diploma from Lynn English High School and class credits in Criminal Justice and Corrections at Bunker Hill Community College.
