John Juliano has had a diverse range of work experience. John started their career in 1989 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, where they held various positions within the safety and security department, eventually becoming the Director of Safety & Security. In this role, they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff, as well as conducting safety and security audits. John also oversaw the installation of alarm systems and digital camera systems. During their time at the hotel, Juliano worked as a security officer on-call and a security supervisor. In 2018, they joined Northeast Security Inc. as the Director of Security. Prior to their work at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, Juliano worked as a security officer for U.S. Security Associates, Inc. and as a field agent for the Knights of Columbus, where they provided insurance services and assisted with member recruitment.

John Juliano attended St. Edward's University from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science.
