Nir Zarchi

Chairman | Chief Product & Innovation at Nervio

Nir Zarchi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nir is currently serving as the Chairman and Chief Product & Innovation Officer at Nervio since June 2023. Prior to this, Nir was the Chief Executive Officer at Nervio from January 2019 to June 2023.

Before joining Nervio, Nir worked as a Research Fellow at the Maritime Policy and Strategy Research Center (HMS) starting from May 2015. Nir also worked as a freelancer, handling project management and strategic operational research from 2016 to 2020.

Nir has experience as a part-time lecturer at ORT Braude College from 2016 to 2020. Nir also worked as a Senior Consultant at Tefen Management Consulting from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their consulting roles, Nir has experience in defense systems. Nir worked as a System Engineer and Operations Researcher at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems from 2015 to 2016. Prior to this, they held the position of Program Manager, Operations and Project Management at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems from 2008 to 2012.

Nir's earlier work experience includes being a Project Manager Team Lead at Tescom from 2005 to 2008, an Industrial Engineer at Matan Consulting from 2003 to 2005, and an Automation & IT Student at Intel Corporation from 2000 to 2003.

Nir Zarchi began their education in 1999 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Management Engineering in 2003. In 2011, they furthered their education at the University of Haifa and completed a Master's degree in Public Administration & National Security, specializing in Operation Research, Critical Infrastructures, National Security, and Energy Policy, in 2014. Currently, Nir Zarchi is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Haifa in the Department of Marine Geosciences, School of Marine Sciences. Their research interests focus on Operation Research, Maritime Domain, Energy Policy, Critical Infrastructures, and National Security.
