Dan Michael has extensive experience in environmental decision support and quality management. Dan worked as the VP, Environmental Decision Support Specialist at Neptune and Company, Inc., where they supported the development of quality management systems for federal agencies involved in science-based decision making. Dan also facilitated technical project planning, design, and risk assessment at hazardous waste and munitions sites. Prior to this, they served as the Department Director at Research Triangle Institute, where they managed work for EPA and focused on the development of data quality objectives and assessment processes.
Dan Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Biology and Environmental Studies from Alfred University. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Biology at The Ohio State University from 1978 to 1982.
