Cathy Armstead has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Cathy started their career at Harding Lawson Assoc in 1990 as a Principal Engineer and worked there until 2002. Cathy then moved on to establish their own company, Armstead Associates, where they served as the President from 2002 to 2005. Later, they joined Landmark Environmental, Inc. in 2005 as a Principal Engineer, where they stayed until 2014. Currently, they are working at Neptune and Company, Inc. as a Principal Engineer.

Cathy Armstead obtained their BS and MS degrees from the Colorado School of Mines between 1976 and 1978. Cathy'sfields of study included Chemical and Mineral Engineering, as well as Environmental Science.
