Lauren Tedesco has extensive experience in healthcare management and medical transcription. Since 1996, Lauren has served as the Practice Manager for Nephrology Associates of Northern Illinois/Indiana, the largest nephrology practice in the US, overseeing a team of 12 healthcare professionals across four offices. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as an Independent Consultant for Kitsy Lane from November 2013 to August 2015, focusing on strategic marketing and advertising for an online jewelry and accessories boutique. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Medical Transcriptionist at DuPage Medical Transcription from 1992 to 2010, where Lauren transcribed physician dictation and identified discrepancies in medical documentation. Lauren's educational background includes an Associate degree and a Medical Transcription Certificate from the College of DuPage, complemented by training in medical terminology, biology, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
